Jennifer DeCamp writes about books and pop culture happenings for the Times when she is not designing pages for the Weekend and Homes sections. Before joining the Times, she was the books editor and a feature page designer at the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville.

An Ohio native and graduate of Indiana University, she has lived in the South since 1999 and prefers a life free from ice scrapers and snow shovels.

She can often be found with her nose in a book or watching So You Think You Can Dance, her current reality TV obsession. She lives with her husband, a political reporter in Pasco County for the Times, and their dog, Alex, in north Pinellas County.
